Teaching kids and teens
As a Kids & Teens teacher in Vietnam, you’ll teach students aged 3–18, from young children taking their first steps in English to teenagers developing their confidence and communication skills. Your students are curious, energetic, and enthusiastic about learning, and they enjoy classes that are active, engaging, and social.
You’ll also teach the same age range across our Kids & Teens schools, giving you the opportunity to work with different age groups and adapt your teaching to suit their needs and interests.
As a teacher, you’ll need to come to each class prepared, positive, and ready to get involved. You’ll plan engaging lessons that combine language learning with games, activities, and plenty of opportunities for students to practise English in a supportive classroom environment.
Your goal is to help students make progress, enjoy learning English, and feel confident using the language.
Make a difference
Teaching in Vietnam is about more than teaching English. You’ll build relationships with your students, get to know their personalities and interests, and watch them grow in confidence as they develop their English skills. Your students will come from different backgrounds and have different levels of English, so every class will bring something new.

Curriculum and age range
Our curriculum ranges by age group. We offer a range of courses developed in-house by our own top-of-the-line product and design department. Our kids are organised into age groups that align with their educational stages: 3-6, 7-9, 10-14, and 15-18, corresponding to primary, secondary school, and beyond. We will provide you with all the training and technology you need to be able to teach kids of all age ranges with our award-winning curriculum and a supportive network.

Job responsibilities
Work abroad to teach kids in Vietnam aged 3 – 18 in groups of up to 16 students.
Planning and delivering lessons to children.
Using electronic media and English 1-developed course ware to teach efficiently and effectively.
Evaluating student progress and providing ongoing guidance for improvement to both students and their parents.
Assigning and evaluating out-of-class exercises.
Participating in social activities with students organised by your school.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree
(Due to visa requirements) passport holder from:
A clear background check
Ability to live abroad for at least one year
A TEFL certification
If you don’t have a TEFL certificate, we will sponsor you for a 120-hour TEFL, free of charge.
